About Koné:

Koné Moerman, a Belgian handpan artist, began his musical journey with percussion at a young age before finding his true focus in the handpan. Inspired by travel, nature, and musical traditions from around the world, he explores the instrument across genres including jazz, classical, electronic, and improvisation. Koné performs internationally, sharing his music on stages across Europe, the UK, Scandinavia, and beyond, collaborating with artists from diverse backgrounds to expand the possibilities of the handpan.

In addition to performing, he runs Handpan Copenhagen, the first handpan school in Scandinavia, where he teaches students of all levels and encourages them to explore both the technical and expressive potential of the instrument. Through his teaching, collaborations, and performances, Koné emphasizes connection, between music and nature, tradition and experimentation, and among people, making the handpan a bridge to new musical experiences and shared moments of sound.

About Nadia:

Nadia Dashdorzh is a professional flutist, handpan player, teacher, and sound explorer based in Copenhagen. Her work bridges classical training with meditative and contemporary sound, creating immersive and atmospheric musical experiences.

Originally from Belarus with Mongolian roots, she brings a rich blend of cultural influences into her artistic expression. She has been part of Copenhagen’s music scene for over six years, performing, teaching, and expanding her creative voice.

Trained as a classical flutist and a graduate of the Academy of Music in Belarus, Nadia is a prizewinner of several national and international competitions. She has performed with orchestras, chamber ensembles, and in a wide range of settings—from solo concerts in churches to collaborations and session work.

In recent years, her focus has expanded into more intuitive and meditative soundscapes. After discovering the handpan in late 2024, it quickly became a central part of her artistic expression. Today, she performs and teaches beginner courses at Handpan Copenhagen.

Alongside her performance work, Nadia explores music as a tool for healing and inner connection, creating meditative concerts that invite deep relaxation and reflection.

In May 2025, she released her debut EP Inner Compass, a reflection of her inner journey.
