If you struggle to keep the rhythm of your breath when you are being challenged this workshop is for you.
The Bandhas and the Breath are the foundations for all the movements we are doing in a vinyasa yoga class, and all the transitions will be more fluent when the foundations are strong. You will be able to guide your breath and use your bandhas when you need to.
How does it work, and how to find the Bandhas?
Are you a little confused when the teacher is telling you to activate your bandhas? Root lock and bellylock?
Are you engaging your pelvic floor or not. And how does it work with the breath?
And are you supposed to engage through the whole class?
At this workshop we will try to answer these questions and find a way to be more confident when you need to or depend on your inner strength. At the same time, you will learn the importance of letting go as well.
We will go through the Ujjayi Breath and explore how you are breathing with and without your bandhas engaged and how it feels.
This will be a workshop where you turn your awareness inwards - into the body, and then we will explore the strength of the foundations in a vinyasa flow and some specific postures.
