Cacao Ceremony
& Yin Yoga
A deep dive, into your heart.
w. Kirstine Ravn
Cacao ceremonies have been around for thousands of years.
The sacred, ceremonial cacao was originally discovered by the Olmecs in 1500 B.C , and as a stable in the Mayan and Artec cultures for centuries, cacao had a place in thiese empires as a sacred, elite and ritualistic plant.
It is then and now, used for spirituel, medicinal ceremonial purposes for inner awakening and creative guidance.
Pure cacao is used as a heart opening medicine for people to safely experience awakening, revelation and healing. It is used in a sacred medicinal ritual, where intensions are set and once consumed, euphoric states are unlocked, negative emotions are released and we are able to connect to ourselves and the loving energy on our body.
We will start the ceremony in a chakra based, primarily heart focused meditation and slide into a 60 minutes Yin Yoga practice. Focusing on our whole energetic body, but first and foremost, on our heart.
This first part is followed by a seated gather and in stillness. Questions and shared insight is of course welcomed.
After the Yin part of the session we work with intention setting before we collectively consume the ceremonial cacao.
As the body reacts to the cacao you can sit in stillness or you can move in asanas or dance - Simply follow your intuition, your inner wisdom, with awareness and a consciousness of other processes in the room.
Kirstine will make sure to hold the space for you, throughout the whole ceremony.
