Yoga is great to help us broaden our perspective and see things from a new angle.
Practicing inversions, a category of yoga poses where our body is basically turned upside down, is one way to grow our practice and learn to be more comfortable with new perspectives… and get fresh inspiration!
Often, in a typical class the focus on this category of poses is limited. Like any other type of poses, inversions can be decomposed into different parts so that we easily can build up to them… no matter how “strong” or fit we think we are.
This 3-hour workshop is for you who is eager to learn more about inversions, practice them and explore the virtues of this category of poses. In addition to be both fun and scary, inversions are also healthy to practice as they help regenerate healthy blood flow, awakens energy, and can release some tension in our spine.
In a safe and fun way, we will explore and expand our edges and touch places we did not think were possible before! Be prepared to bring a new perspective into your life, play around and build up confidence.
You are warmly invited, no matter how “strong” you think you are! The main requirement is your willingness to meet yourself and have fun.
Please be aware of contra-indications for practicing inversions including (and not limited to) low blood pressure, vascular issues, eye and sight issues, brain and neck injuries. If in doubt, write to Cedric: cedric@heartwiseyoga.com or consult with your professional health adviser.
