The voice can be one of the most important ways of expressing ourselves and is an amazing way to connect with our body, mind and soul.
This workshop with Singer and Yoga Teacher Cipa, will focus on setting your voice free so you can feel your voice when it is the most authentic, free and without any strain. With help from yoga, breath exercises and singing techniques, we will examine how we can use the voice to release tensions, enter a meditative state as well as just singing for the fun it.
Voice and Body
We will support our voice with specific yoga sequences developed specifically for the “singing body” and discover how movement and singing can be combined. We will work with different singing techniques from the Anne Rosing Method, and explore how singing and yoga together can influence each other and create focus, grounding and being present in the moment.
If you are interested in working with and exploring the potential of bringing voice in to your yoga practise or if you are a yoga teacher who would like more knowledge of how to use your voice and and bring it to the yoga practise - then this workshop is for you. All levels are welcome.
