with Nabeel Khan
For the first time ever in Copenhagen, Nabeel Khan (IND), famous Sarangi player and singer, will be hosting this unique classical Indian Concert & Meditation at The Yoga Flat. Inviting you to tune in to the depths of meditation through music and singing.
In this 2 hour concert we will begin with the introduction of a relaxed Raga (melody) that will stretch into a 30 to 40 minute session to achieve depth in meditation.
Nabeel will switch between playing and singing.
The audience will be invited to keep their eyes closed to try to travel inwards with each note.
The aura that Nabeel aims to create is that of ancient Indians and their devotion and imagination towards their records for the help of music.
This will be followed by a short interactive pause with a conversation about the experience.
Music will then play an upbeat compositions ranging from Sufi to folk genre.
More interactions will follow naturally via the proactive engagement with audience and their response towards Sarangi.

About Nabeel:
Nabeel Khan, born in New Delhi, India is a Sarangi player, composer and a singer-songwriter.
Sarangi is an Indian classical and traditional bowed instrument which is the closest instrument to our human voice and has a history of more then 1000 years.
Nabeel Khan is the grandson of the great legendary Sarangi Maestro, Ustad Sabri Khan Saheb and the son of renowned Sarangi artist Ustad Nasir Khan.
For the last 5 years, Nabeel has been working on mental health Sarangi healing sessions worldwide through therapeutic specific ragas (melodies). This is achieved through his meditative sessions. This concept is unique, given the rarity of this instrument.
Khan has been accompanied by great artists like Pt Anindo Chatterjee, Ustad Fazal Qureshi ji and many more. And has toured around the world.
