Arm balances can be incredibly scary at first, but also incredibly fun once you begin to find your confidence being on your arms. They require you to be fully connected and at the same time they have the potential to bring forth your inner playful child.
In this 2.5 hour workshop we will expand our knowledge of arm balances and play on the hands!
About this workshop
In this workshop we will play with a range of arm balances and dedicate more time to practice the poses than what we have in a regular yoga class. The workshop will cover:
Drills and skills for arm balances
Technique
Biomechanics of hands, arms, shoulders and hips
Modifications of the individual body
Who can join?
This workshop is aimed for all students who has started to practice arm balances and would like to expand their knowledge and get more confident on their hands. The workshop is an introduction to arm balances therefore it’s perfect for students who would like to learn how to be on their arms and play with different shapes.

About AC:
AC (Anna-Chatrine) tries to apply a holistic approach and a playful and curious mindset to her yoga classes as she seeks to invite you into a space beyond the physical practice. Therefore, her classes will often include a mix of different elements and styles all depending on the theme and mood of the class, and as such yoga is never just ‘one thing’ in AC’s classes. With an upbringing in rhythmic gymnastics you can expect to find playful flows, inversions and armbalances as part of her active classes, sometimes mixed with chanting or meditation to help provide a wider experience around a certain theme. In her gentle classes you’ll often find a bit of soft movement before the energy gradually begins to slow down as you enter deeper passive stretches as well as a softer state of mind. AC seeks to create a holistic experience to leave you with a sense of empowerment, be it an active or gentle practice.
