About Hannah-Rae Hampson:
The British cellist, Hannah-Rae Hampson, studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and now resides in Denmark, leading an active and varied freelance career as a cellist and educator.
Hannah is equally at home performing classical repertoire as she is with contemporary genres. Her lifelong fascination with music’s connection to the body and its ability to induce meditative states of mind inspires much of her repertoire.
Her solo project The Key Resonance, with this interest at its core, has led her to develop her own improvisation style combining classical cello alongside ambient electronics. She has previously played live music to accompany yoga, mindfulness and meditation workshops.
The cello is much loved for its deep, rich and resonant sound, making it the perfect instrument to accompany a relaxing and transformative sound bath.
