Nourish & Unwind (on Zoom)
The Art Of Healing
Restorative Event w. Miz
Price 200,-
This is not a workshop, there is no discussion involved – it is an offering; from you, to you.
Drop out of thinking and into feeling. Maybe you can feel in the back of your mind that you need to relax, and release, but you don't know quite how to...? Let go of offering external activities more energy and yourself less energy – flip that idea; turn off the dialogue that says you don't need to 'stop', and give yourself more.
This offering of restorative yoga allows you to rest and nourish, restoring your relationship with your own body – explore it more and start a deeper conversation with your inner needs. Release layers deeper than muscle and skin, change patterns of holding on to emotions, and enhance your self-healing capabilities. Practice methods of rest that allow you to slow down to access genuine relaxation and better sleep, find an intelligence from deep within your body that allows you to function like a superhero.
Based on the teachings on BKS Iyengar who championed the use of props, combined with yin yoga and somatic practices which allow you to really get to know your body, this offering encourages you to feel deeper in to your self, to take charge, to re-connect with your entire being and emerge as a re-juvenated dynamic organism, reclaiming your body!
Since the workshop will be online via Zoom and you will join from the comfort of your home make sure you have enough support to do the poses, please gather:
A blanket to roll up and use as support
Another blanket or rug to make a soft surface to lie on
2x yoga blocks OR 2x chunky books
1x yoga bolster OR some pillows to make the same size
A nice cushion to use over blocks and to rest your head on
Of course, wear your softest jumper, your warmest socks, and your most comfortable clothes. Have a mug of tea or some water too.
And create yourself a nice space to move in, slightly wider each side than a yoga mat, as we'll be rolling sideways a little.
Led by Miz +300hrs RYT, qualified somatics / restorative / embodied yin teacher.
