200-hour yoga Teacher Training
Yoga Alliance Credited
With lead trainers Sarah Emilie Boas, Nicolai Boas & Cédric Gorinas
We are excited to once again offer our comprehensive 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, beginning in September 2025. This in-depth program provides a structured and immersive journey into the science and art of teaching yoga, taught entirely in person at our studios.
What You will learn
Our training follows Yoga Alliance standards and covers four essential pillars:
Techniques & Practice: Deepen your understanding of asana, pranayama, and meditation.
Anatomy & Physiology: Learn the biomechanics of movement and yoga’s effect on the body.
Yoga Humanities: Explore philosophy, history, and ethics rooted in yogic tradition.
Professional Essentials: Gain the teaching methodology and skills needed to lead effective classes.
Additionally, we offer elective modules such as sequencing, theming, and personal development work to refine your unique teaching style.
The core physical practice of this training blends vinyasa and hatha yoga, with a strong emphasis on alignment-based techniques. To provide a well-rounded foundation in the art of teaching yoga, we also integrate gentler practices and a diverse range of both traditional and contemporary approaches.
Beyond the physical, this training supports you in establishing a dedicated meditation and pranayama sadhana (regular practice), guiding you deeper into the ancient wisdom of yoga beyond movement alone.
Each day is thoughtfully structured with a balance of practice sessions and in-depth workshops. Topics include “Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology,” “Asana Dissection,” “Yoga Philosophy and Psychology” (from both Classical and Nondual Tantric perspectives), “Sequencing and Theming,” “The Subtle Body,” “Functional Pranayama,” and more.
In addition to learning how to teach accessible and well-structured yoga classes, this training offers a transformative journey - elevating your personal practice, deepening self-awareness, and cultivating a sustainable meditation and spiritual practice that will enrich your life far beyond the mat.
Training Format & Schedule
The program consists of five extended weekends (Thursday–Sunday) plus an exam day. Expect full-day sessions combining hands-on practice, workshops, and guided study.
Beyond in-person training, you’ll be expected to dedicate 5-10 hours per week for homework, including practice, sequencing, and class observations. Exam will be on Sunday, December 14.
Your training includes unlimited access to all yoga classes at our three studios throughout the program.
